on 2010-09-01I purchased this bed for my son in an attempt to get him into his own bed. He LOVES Lightning, and I thought this would be a sure bet...he slept in it a couple of times, but he is still in the "big" bed...So why do I love this bed? Because I love to sleep in it!!! This bed is wonderful!!! It is a little bigger than the size of a regular twin bed, is very sturdy, easy to clean, and depending on the mattresses you purchase for it (we have a regular set of twin size mattresses, box spring and all), it is VERY comfortable. I would buy this bed again in a minute.

on 2010-08-29My nephew is in love with McQueen and from what I understand, makes his parents watch "Cars" almost everyday. My parents got him the bed and he loves it. I am glad we read prior reviews because it makes great sense to put the stickers on first before assembly. Once the stickers were on, it took no more than 20 minutes to put all the pieces together. My nephew is convinced that his race car bed "goes fast" when he is sleep. Well worth the price to see the smile on his face.

on 2010-08-13I gave my son( he was 2 yrs and 9 months old then) a big surprise decorating, coloring my son's bedroom with Cars Theme.
My son simply loves his room. He has got so many compliments for his room and Bed.
The Bed was easy to assemble.Pasting the Decals need lot of patience.

on 2010-07-15The packaging size wasn't as big as I initially thought, it was just long and you definitely need a pickup track to get it home. I took other's advice for putting on the stickers on the side that is facing the wall first so that I could do a much better job for the other side. It took me around 1.5 hours to put everything together. I didn't use the spring box, I bought the plywood at Home Depot and had them cut it into 39 x 75 inches instead. Others are right, there are gaps around the bed for twin size mattress and it can be a problem for little kids. I bought a twin size comforter and use it to cover the mattress and fill up the gaps instead. Everything was perfect and most importantly seeing my son being so happy when he saw his bed was priceless!!!
